loving all this fall weather

Happy Monday!!

I hope everyone has enjoyed this beautiful fall weather and did something fun during school break for UEA.  October is one of the most beautiful months of the year the colors of the changing leaves in the mountains can just be breath taking.  Living in Utah we are so lucky to be able to experience all the wonderful seasons.  One of my favorite things to do during the fall is to take a drive up and over the Alpine loop through American Fork Canyon.  Its just out my backyard basically I should enjoy it more often.  So on Friday night I took my parents and we enjoyed a fun time together talking about the beautiful scenery and also just laughing at funny jokes we were making.  It was just a fun time to be able to spend together.  It are those moments that will be held close to the heart and always remembered for all time.

Currently Wearing:

Friday Nights casual look was pieced together from a couple of my favorite stores. 

Nothing more fun than pairing a great band t-shirt with a pair of jeans and fun print slip on sneakers. 

If your trying to put an outfit together that is similar any band or graphic t-shirt would be cool along with printed vans or converse. try it out see what you can put together!!

Im so obsessing over my plaid flannel baseball hat that was a lucky find on one of my many weekly 

trips to the Nordstrom Rack you never know what treasures your going to find there & you always

keep an eye out for statement pieces. This one is for sure a keeper. Can't wait to incorporate it with more outfits this fall and winter.

Im feelin 24!!

 Its been just a hot minute since I've made a blog post. I feel bad that I left this all hanging but I'm back and I'm going to try to be better at keeping my cute blog updated. I've been feeling like I want to change things up a little bit and still make it all about the fashion but also throw a little life into the mix.  
A lot has been going on and life just flies by and then 2014 is almost over as the leaves fall from the trees and there is a certain crispness in the air.  Its that time of the year that I absolutely love.  


This summer I went from a Brunette to a Blonde and chopped off 11 inches of my long beautiful locks.   Everyone had to ask me if I had to change my hair because I was going through a break up. I'm not going to lie yes I did go through a break up & it was

very hard on me but it is not why I changed my hair color. It
just so happened that a breakup and a well needed hair change
happened all at the same time.  But the hair change did let me feel better.  I took some time off from dating to let myself heal & begin to be better find the person I am.  People say your 20's are the time to really find who you are.  I know I lost my way for a while and I had to take time to re evaluate my priorities and whats going to make my life a happy life and who I really am.  I've learned a lot of good lessons and I think I've grown a lot.  To sum it all up... I'm just so grateful for what I've learned & for where I am now.

So lets talk fashion lets talk about my fav birthday outfit!! Last week I turned 24 and it was by far the best Birthday!! My most recent obsession are pencil skirts. Pencil skirts are so feminine, chic both dressy and casual, They fit like a glove I think on any woman they show off all the best curves in all the right places ;) .  One of the best stores I have found pencil skirts at all times is Jcrew and also I have found majority of my pencil skirts at the Nordstrom Rack.

What to Wear:
 Graphic tee and pencil skirts with a pair of great pumps and a bold statement necklace make a fantastic work to night outfit
Sweater & pencil skirt is a cute sweetheart look with heels or flats (like in picture)
Mens wear oxford button down white or vertical stripes tucked or untucked I like both looks depends what your going for.
