2013 fall most wearable fashion trends

Ladies if your still holding on to summer not quite sure if it's time to bring out those sweaters, boots and scarfs.  Here are a few ideas straight from the runway that I think  you can play with into your everyday wear.

Winter White

We are breaking all the rules of no white after
labor day. But since when does fashion follow rules.
They are more like guidelies anyways. Whites never looked
better and its here to stay. Head to toe white will
make a statement walking into any room and everyone
will love it.

Hats and beanies- they aren't just for hiding a bad
hair day anymore. Add them to your outfit to complete
the look. Whether its out to lunch with or friend or even
mix up a little and wear one to a party. This is something
that im totally into this fall and am excited to wear hats
and beanies all the time!!

Classic Prints- These prints will always be in
style and you can make them work for any age.
After a season of some pretty dramatic prints, this
fall designers and coming back to the classics.
Leopard,Pinstripe, Plaid and Houndstooth.  These
are probably pieces you still have in your own wardrobe.
So bring them out and create something new with
them.  Thats one of my favorite things to do.
The Prints I love the most this season are Leopard and
Houndstooth they just scream my name.

Over the Knee Boots- Boots, Boots,Boots we love them.
You can wear them with everything!! I love to wear
mine with skirts/dresses layered with tights and then maybe long
wool socks too. Also leggings they work fabulous with.
And of course with the denim skinny jean.

Turtlenecks- This is one that scares me only because
I have a short neck so I feel like I become a floating head.
So I personally dont love this look for myself. But if you've
got the neck then defiantly go for it. My advice would be to
choose one that is a basic cotton and then layer over with a
statement sweater or maybe a vest or jacket. That way its
not to bulky around your neck, creating a more slimming look.

Shades of Green- Green is the color of fall 2013.
From Emerald to army green there is a shade for every
one. So have fun with it and try something new.
I am defiantly trying this look this fall.

Slouchy Pants- Goodness can I say im obsessed!
Because I am love this casual trouser look. slimming
at the ankle paired with a great pair of heals and
a jacket or a blouse it a great look that can go
from day to night. It is a high fashion no-fuss look
that any woman can wear.

Statement piece outerwear- Outer wear is a must
especially living in Utah like most of us do. We are
about to go into the coldest days of the year. And spend
a lot of time in wearing our coats. So I think it is always
a good idea to maybe spend a little more money on
one that will not only be warm but work with about
anything you've got on. You'll turn heads when your out
and about and you'll take your outfit to the next level!!

Folk-Inspired pieces
This is a look you can have a lot of fun with. If your
the type that likes to live a little out of the box and
wants a new look. I would tell you to make a trip
to an old vintage store or thrift shop and see what
outfits you can create on your own. Something
very urban and a little retro this season.

Rounded Shoulders- This is a very chic feminine
trend to try this fall. Something new and does not have
to be that dramatic, you can always tone it down to
as simple as maybe a cashmere sweater or maybe as
bold to a coat or a dress. Which ever it is just remember
as long as you feel comfortable and confident every
one else will just be jealous their the ones not wearing it.

Alex&Ani

My current obsession!!
Alex&Ani (+) Energy

Alex and Ani has finally come to Utah, and I couldn’t be more excited to discover this newfound love. Carolyn Rafaelian designer who comes from a long family line of jeweler masters created each piece. The bangles are infused with positive energy and recycled metal, makes each one unique in their own way.

The moment I walked in their doors at City Creek shopping mall I was hooked.  I love anything that has symbolism.  The super cute girls at the counter were excited to show me all the different collections and what they all meant. It was so hard to pick just one that I want first, because of course I wanted them all at once.  I started with two but plan to collect all of them.

Mermaid- Femininity/Love/Mystery

The mermaid is a combination of elemental & angelic energies.  She is also known as a mistress of enchantment.  Seductive & charming, all those in contact with the mermaid are subject to her persuasion.  Wear this as you learn to unleash your own unique charm.  (The girls were not kidding if your single and the minute you put on this bracelet its like all the boys come out and want all your attention! Its amazing!!!)

Lotus Peace Petals- Illumination/Beauty/Resilience

With roots secured in the mud, a stem that grows through water, and a flower that lies pristinely above, the lotus signifies the progression of the soul.  Inspiring us to rise from the darkness into enlightenment, the Lotus Peace Petals Charm also incorporates the higher power of a harmonious spirit with the Om symbol.  Let this charm represent cognitive balance and your innate desire to grow spiritually.

My Hibbs "Heels"

From a mother to her daughter…
I wasn’t kidding when I told people I was born wearing heels.  A daughter learns the best fashion and beauty advice they will ever know from their mothers.  When I was a little girl and barely balancing on my own two feet, I knew my first love would be heels.  I would watch my mom walk and how pretty she looked.  I wanted my own pair just for me.  My mom tells me I would call heels “my hibbs”.  Now if that isn’t just darling I don’t know what is.  And so it began my irresistible love for fashion and beauty.
